The first trailer for Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker
The first trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order for PS4, Xbox One, and PC is story-centric, meaning no gameplay. But we also know numerous details about The gameplay of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order: will be focused on melee combat with a lightsaber, being able to hit, dodge, and take detours, but we will also have access to numerous Force powers.
In short, our expectation of this new Star Wars game is in Cloud City. So we have decided to retrieve one of our reports on the galactic saga for the occasion. Or rather, reports: the three that we dedicate to review all the Star Wars games. And this time, we select the ones we like the most to offer you an “authentic” the best Star Wars games, perfect while we wait for Jedi: Fallen Order.
STAR WARS: KNIGHTS OF THE FORMER REPUBLIC
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, better known by its acronym KOTOR, is globally hailed as THE BEST STAR WARS GAME created to date. And it’s not for less: BioWare threw the house out the window and presented us with an RPG that has everything we could want from a good adventure based on the George Lucas universe: locations of the beautiful invoice, combat with lightsabers, powers of the force, space battles, a story with an unexpected twist and a cast of protagonists from another galaxy. And last but not least, the fate of the galaxy depends on the decisions we make throughout the adventure, making us get involved in the story in a way that few games achieve. A masterful and timeless gem absolutely mandatory for all Star Wars fans.
STAR WARS: KNIGHTS OF THE FORMER REPUBLIC II – THE LORDS SITH
Obsidian took over from BioWare (the company was too busy developing Mass Effect) to perform Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. Unfortunately, the title went pretty badly when it comes to criticism, and the Obsidian guys were pressured to launch the game prematurely, reaching the market plagued by bugs and literally incomplete. Luckily, it is one of those titles that time has slowly put in the place it deserves, making its virtues shine far above its shortcomings: it refined the KOTOR formula by adding combat styles or the possibility of converting our allies in Jedi or Sith, depending on our inclination.
In addition, it has a totally atypical story that made us rethink everything we knew about the Star Wars universe. In short, a very great sequel that, despite its shortcomings, manages to be the height of the legend.
