Today, Seoul-based global pop powerhouse NCT 127 released the remix bundle iScreaM Vol. 1: ‘Kick It’ Remixes, featuring three remixes of their recent single “Kick It,” via SM Entertainment Co., Ltd.’s EDM label ScreaM Records with Capitol Music Group/ Caroline.
Available HERE, the remix bundle showcases different perspectives on “Kick It”—whose music video, praised by Billboard as “fierce, inspirational,” has over 43 million views on YouTube alone—from critically acclaimed DJs Valentino Khan, MINIMONSTER, and Hitchhiker. “The original was so catchy and full of energy. I wanted to inject some trap and bass to turn it into a full-on banger,” said DJ Valentino Khan about the project – listen to his remix HERE.
The lead single from their recently-released The 2nd Album ‘NCT #127 Neo Zone,’ “Kick It” is the first song chosen for a new monthly series called iScreaM, which will feature remixed versions of singles from SM’s artists. This collection of “Kick It” remixes kicks off, fittingly, a project that will highlight the diverse personalities of both domestic and foreign DJs and producers. The entire series will be released via ScreaM Records, which was launched in 2016 as a sub-label of SM Entertainment specialized in the EDM genre.
Coming up next, NCT 127 will release The 2nd Album Repackage ‘NCT #127 Neo Zone: The Final Round,’ a deluxe repackage of Neo Zone, featuring 4 new tracks—including their upcoming single “Punch”—alongside the album’s original 13. Physical albums will be released June 12 in the U.S. via SM Entertainment Co., Ltd. with Capitol Music Group/ Caroline. The album will be available digitally on May 19 worldwide. Fans can pre-order the physical deluxe repackage HERE ahead of the release.
NCT 127 will also perform a livestreamed concert on May 16 at 11 pm PT via Beyond LIVE, the world’s first online exclusive concert series from SM Entertainment and Naver. Following the group’s completely sold-out 2019 arena tour, viewers can look forward to an outstanding performance showcasing unparalleled camera work, AR technology, 3D graphics augmented in real-time, and a variety of virtual, colorful backdrops.
