Following on from the release of his brilliant debut single ‘You’ve Got The Wrong Guy’, which has since gone on to amass more than 250k streams since its unveiling in March, 22-year-old troubadour Archie Langley aka St Lundi has now returned to deliver his highly anticipated follow up ‘Ruin’ on May 6th through Propeller Recordings (Slotface, Dagny).

Much like his previous offering, ‘Ruin’ sees the producer take to the piano for this smooth and heartfelt new ballad. Coupling atmospheric production with his own sweet and soaring vocals, his newest cut cements him as one of the more endearing new artists to have emerged so far this year.

Speaking about the song’s inspiration, Archie explains, “Miscommunication can often lead to confusion. This song is a take on how two people in love are on the brink of breaking down as a result of not doing something that seems so simple to most, talking. This story represents the moment of realisation when one pleads with the other to speak about the troubles they both face or risk letting what they have built go to ruin.”

St Lundi is now signed to Propeller, who have recently helped to launch many up and coming artists including Au/Ra, Declan J Donovan, Yungblud and manage Spotify top 300 streaming artist Seeb. This has led to Archie working with new collaborators that have seen success with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Lewis Capaldi, JC Stewart and many others.

This year, Archie will release his debut EP, alongside writing for other projects, which includes songs on Seeb’s forthcoming LP.
