#1: Jordi Cruyff (1996-2000)
Jordi Cruyff played for Manchester United from 1996 to 2000. He is the man with his iconic father whose name is Johan Cruyff. As you might already know, Johan Cruyff is a legend in football history. Jordi could not make his career as successful as his father did. He played over 50 games for the Red Devils and was playing with the team when MU won the treble, but very few people remember that he actually played for the club. At the moment, he is retired.
#2: Ryan Shawcross (2006-2008)
Ryan Shawcross played for Man United for 2 seasons, from 2006 to 2008 and is now playing for Stoke City. Shawcross was a regular in the reserves but he wasn’t always in the first team. The two times he played for Man United came from the bench. After leaving the club, he went on to join Stoke City on loan in 2007 and then in 2008, the club opts to buy him for £2 million.
#3: Danny Webeck (2008-2014)
Danny Welbeck was a good player of the Red Devils

#4: Danny Simpson (2006-2010)
This is another name that the fans of Manchester United have forgotten. Danny Simpson used to be part of the Man United academy. However, he played only 3 times for the Red Devils and did not manage to be in the main team. He then plays for Leicester City where he is quite successful with over 100 appearances. He also won the Premier League in the 2015/16 season.
#5: Joshua King (2008-2010)
Joshua King used to play for Manchester United from 2008 to 2010 in their academy side. Just like other players we mentioned, he struggled for game time and then he moved on to play for Preston North End. Afterwards, he becomes a key part of Bournemouth. He scored 33 times in 106 appearances.
As you can see, the list of great players are long and you will always remember them as symbols of the club. However, it is not short when you list the players that you have forgotten. It is not really a bad thing, but, to know that they were part of the team makes you a true fan of the Red Devils.
