Interview: Maxx Paradox

Hi Maxx Paradox! How are you?

Good. Glad to be here.

Where are you from?

Originally from Yonkers, NY … currently living in Greenwich, CT.

What is your greatest inspiration for your music?

My life experiences, struggles with mental health and past relationships.

What are 3 words that describe your music?

Vulnerable, Emotional, High-Energy

What is the hardest subject you’ve ever written about?

Opening up about my depression and most recent relationship kind of just flowed out of me like therapy but it was extremely difficult for me to release out to the public.

What are the challenges of being an artist?

Continuing to put work in and not seeing any back at first. Having the drive to keep spending your hard earned money on promotion and not seeing an immediate return can be dissatisfying and crush your motivation, but if you are doing what you love the money will come! You have to be in this for the long haul if you want longevity in this industry.

Are you planning on releasing new music soon?

May 8thRay Bans, Lost EP Summer 2020
