When you listen to Madden Novogratz’s music, it’s hard to believe that the soulful vocals and lyrics come from just a 14 year old. Born and raised in New York City, Madden was always immersed in music and culture. From listening to The Indigo Girls and Passenger records with her mom, to attending dozens of Broadway shows, Madden has always held a deep passion for the arts. She’s practically been singing since she could speak, and plays guitar as well. The diverse canvas of New York has played a huge role in helping Madden navigate the world and experience the myriad of cultures and traditions represented in the city.

Today, we are thrilled to share her debut single “Rain,” which details the experience of being overwhelmed by the world and having to navigate through it. The song is the first of many to come from the young talent’s dynamic first collection of music. Listen now via Imperfect Fifth!
