Today, genre-bending artist Quinn XCII has returned with his new song “Coffee” ft. Marc E. Bassy via Columbia Records. Quinn XCII has also released the official video for the track, directed by Blythe Thomas. Entirely self-filmed in quarantine, the visual shows a disappointed Quinn XCII when his significant other sneaks out in the morning, leading to a crazy spiral of ridiculous online shopping. Light-up chop-sticks, inflatable dinosaur costume, fake grills, lime green spandex body suit – you name it, he probably ordered it.
“Coffee” was co-written by Quinn XCII alongside Imad Royal and Hazey Eyes, Ashe, and Marc E. Bassy (who is also featured on the track). The song is lifted from Quinn XCII’s upcoming third album, A Letter To My Younger Self, which will be released on July 10 via Columbia Records. The album will also include previously-released tracks “Two 10s” and “Stacy.” A Letter To My Younger Self is available for pre-order now.
