Riker Lynch Finds “Escape” In New Riker & The Beachcombers Release

Riker and the Beachcombers evokes sun-drenched beaches, palm trees, endless vacations, and having that perfect companion in the new single “Escape (The Pina Colada Song,” out everywhere today. The tropical-pop rock song is exactly LA-based actor/musician Riker Lynch intends it to be—a fun little tribute to laid-back summer days spent on the beach, made even better by the perfect cocktail. “This is exactly what I pictured in my head when I first thought up Riker & The Beachcombers,” explained Riker in a recent interview with Celeb Secrets. “We played it every night on tour so I thought, let’s just do a studio version!”

“Escape (The Pina Colada Song)” comes after Riker’s debut single “Sex On The Beach,” the National Margarita Day drop “My Girl Rita,” and the “lighthearted, breezy” tune “She Just Wants To Be Famous” – which dropped during Riker’s winter tour with O.A.R. The three tracks perfectly encapsulate Riker’s trop-rock vibes he envisioned for Riker and the Beachcombers.
