Interview: Young Dancing Star Kameron Couch

Hello Kameron! How are you?

Hi, I’m doing great! The weather is perfect in Cali right now!

How did you get into dancing?

I started dancing when I was 7 years old because my older sister danced and I had serious FOMO whenever I went with my parents to pick her up.

What was it like being on Dancing with the stars?

Dancing With The Stars was the absolute best job I’ve ever had! Booking a national television show when you’re 11 years old is pretty big in LA so honestly I tried to make every minute of it count.

Who was one person that helped you to get to where you are today?

My parents definitely helped to get me where I am today. We were born in Michigan and they moved me out to LA once I started booking jobs, so without them I would not have been able to work here.

What is your next big move?

My next big move is in the works. I have a great project I’m working on with a top choreographer and cannot wait to share that with the world.

What separates you from other competitors?

I think my drive separates me from my other competitors. I really love dancing and performing and that comes from the inside, it cannot be taught.

What is one milestone you want to hit before you stop dancing?

I won a national title when I was 8 years old so I would love to win another one before I graduate. I’ve also really loved dancing in Kesha and DJ Snake’s music videos so maybe another one of those would be great also!
