Today, Joss Jaffe unveils his latest track “Play It Again” on Top Shelf Music Magazine.
“Play it Again (featuring Kiyoshi) tells a love story about rekindling a love flame with that special person you were never able to stop thinking about. The thrill and excitement of seeing them the first time plays out again and again every time they come into view, lifting your heart. You only want to be close to them feeling intoxicated by an excitation of love,” Jaffe explains.
Joss Jaffe combines reggae and pop to create a blend of organic and electric sounds all his own with his new release ‘Play it Again’ (featuring Kiyoshi).
Take a little Sublime, mix it with J Boog and then add some Jack Johnson, and you have a feel for what Jaffe is presenting in this new sound, where influences such as The Police and U2 can also be heard.
Set to pulsing rhythms blending pop, hypnotic dub reggae and ambient trip-hop, Joss’ clear and distinctive voice draws the listener in with a unique and catchy sound. The California-based artist’s 5th release builds on the success of his earlier albums.
