PREMIERE: CATERPILLARS Release New Music Video For “Buy You Out”

Today we are pleased to team up with the great guys of CATERPILLARS for the premiere of their new music video for “Buy You Out,” a story driven visual that sees our main actor going through a journey that blends nightmares and reality.

About the song, the band comments “The song Buy You Out is centered around the idea that when a person is in a comatose state that their life is out of their hands. Would the people you love and trust be willing to pay for the costs to keep you alive if they could even if the outcome wasn’t filled with hope? The idea for this song stemmed from my time I spent in a hospital getting neck surgery and having to sign a waiver in case my surgery didn’t go as planned. The thought that other people get to make that call for you when you’re under anesthesia still gets under my skin.

We’ve been collectively working on this album back and forth via the internet for the past year. This is the first album we felt comfortable doing ourselves and not working with a producer this time around.

We wanted to release this song sooner than planned because we felt that through this time of uncertainty that people could hopefully relate to our words and be able to cope with whatever twists and turns that life tends to throw at us. We hope you enjoy!”

Formed in 2008, Caterpillars are Chris Robinson, Stephen O’Sicky, Ben Love and Eric Braun. What once was a band from Dallas, TX now spans throughout Texas and even San Diego, CA. On their upcoming 3rd full length album Caterpillars expands on their sound of melodic emotive inspiration to a landscape of dreamy electric with synth and vocal choruses. The new album is centered around a person trapped in a comatose state trying to find their way back through dreams and hardships.
