G L O W E Releases New Single ‘Daughter’

Following the success of recent single ‘Overwhelmed’, burgeoning singer-songwriter and fast-rising name, Glowe aka Georgia Lowe, returns with her female empowering anthem ‘Daughter’.

‘Daughter’ is the second single in the lead up to the release of her debut EP of the same title. The track itself illuminates the glowing maturity in this young artist as she traces the details of what it means to be a woman. With SG Lewis’s band on instrumentation and produced by Max Truphet and Tom Dunne, the team around this single lay the foundations for a very promising release.

Speaking on the meaning behind ‘Daughter’, Glowe explains; The word ‘Daughter’ has always stood out to me as being a strong, powerful and beautiful word. We belong to a community. We are the daughters of thousands of generations of females who fought and died for our rights to be the women we are today.

I want to continue to inspire other women, younger girls and maybe one day my own children to be brave, powerful and fearless in anything you do. Pushing negative stereotypes underground and bringing yourself and the women around to greatness. To do any less than this is an insult to those who do not have the same opportunities and freedom.”

The forthcoming EP, ‘Daughter’, is a 6-track body of carefully crafted work. ‘Daughter’ is an undeniable showcase of the versatility of Glowe’s continually engaging lyricism and delivery; ranging from the raw emotion of ‘Bitter’ to the driving energy of ‘Better Than You Do’. The EP will be supported by a conceptual live performance to celebrate its release with a string of live dates to follow.
