Lando the Nomad Drops Funky New Single “Wildcard” Feat. Kelly Hafner

Austin based electronic / funk producer Lando the Nomad has just dropped the first single off his new EP ‘Wildcard’ feat. soulstress Kelly Hafner on Friday, April 3rd! Lando the Nomad’s undeniable funky style is a product of tasteful soul and slammin’ beats. With his other band Resonant Frequency quickly becoming a prominent figure in the live music capital, Austin TX, Lando the Nomad’s personal endeavors are beginning to come to massive fruition.

The title track of the EP “Wildcard” bumps funk at the highest frequency with live horns and fat beats. Kelly oozes confidence as she sings to her lover, “You don’t have to work so hard, the truth might scare you – but you’re gonna go far. Cause you’re my wildcard.” “If we all take a little more chances, have a little more fun, and trust ourselves a little more, we can do anything we set our minds to,” says vocalist Kelly Hafner.

Another standout song upcoming on the EP includes the euphoric track “Above the Clouds,” where raw passion drips from the lyrics and vocals, as the melody dances over the solid electro-soul beat. Raindrops, dreamy synths, and a mellow comforting beat start out the third track on the EP “Capture the Storm,” followed by the soft and soothing voice of vocalist Kelly Hafner. A music video for Capture the Storm is set to release this Spring, self shot and produced by Lando himself on the beaches of Costa Rica.
