FALSE HEARTS (https://www.facebook.com/falseheartsofficial ) continue to soar. The rising alt-rockers drop their spanking new EP, Remedy, on Friday 3rd April. The highly rated four piece have already racked up comparisons to Halestorm, Muse, and Shinedown. With all of this in mind, we asked the band to give us an exclusive track by track breakdown of their new EP:
The Title track of the EP ‘Remedy’ is a hard hitting belter of a track, strong solo and bass beat – an upbeat riff based track about the music being the Remedy, the music is the drug, the music is the cure.
A heavy fast paced song throughout, driven mainly through strong vocals, experimenting with high and low vocal range. Misery Loves Company delves into the sick and twisted joy and sharing misery with others in a light hearted way. It packs a punch with a powerful solo vocal to close.
Breathe Again
A haunting and powerful ballad, something completely different, starting soft the song then builds to tell a story of quite literally witnessing someone taking their last breathe, the reality of depression and mental illness with the people around you having no idea, a message to those suffering to keep fighting.
Enough is Enough
Full of riffs and strong melody hooks, enough is enough continuously builds in energy, portraying the frustration at wasting life on mind numbing things. Going out with a punch it is the perfect ending track on the EP – Build the strength, overcome and become better and stronger.”
