Nashville-based artist & songwriter David Archuleta has released his new single & video “OK, All Right,” available to stream now on YouTube, Spotify, and all DSPs worldwide. The track is David’s first release of 2020, and is an introduction to his forthcoming album due out later this year. The music video was co-directed by Glee favorite Kevin McHale (who also appears in the video) and up-and-coming director Justin Thorne. “OK All Right” was written over a year ago, and its coincidental release during a global pandemic couldn’t come at a better time.
It’s been three years since David’s last album Postcards in the Sky, and this upcoming body of work represents a transparency that has not been present in previous releases. Throughout the album, David comes to terms with his anxiety, depression, and overall struggle with mental health.” I wrote ‘OK, All Right’ to vent a little about how little things that shouldn’t get to me get to me every now and then,” David explains. “While I wrote it originally to help people get through their bad days and moods in a bit of a humorous way, I think it’s something we can all use as a reminder in the world, especially these days. That even when things get tough, things will turn out OK, All Right.”
