Bingo in the 21st Century – How Bongos Bingo Changed Everything

Bingo has changed, for the better. Our creative minds as humans have managed to completely revolutionise the game of Bingo. You no longer have to picture elderly women sat in an old bingo room surrounded by more elderly people, with their bingo card and bingo dabbers waiting for their number to be called.

Now, in the 21st century, we have put our own party spin on bingo, by creating “Bongo’s Bingo”. Bongo’s Bingo incorporates both the bingo element but mainly the party element of a night out and merges them together. This is a fun, on your feet way of playing bingo, with a lot of prizes to be won, some of them explicit! Bongo’s Bingo has become massively popular since it first began and it’s not just another new bingo site. It originally was just a few venues in the UK and now it has gone global, with these events being hosted in countries such as Amsterdam, Dubai, Ibiza and Australia.

Bongo’s Bingo was started by 2 friends in Liverpool who wanted to change the way in which bingo was played. At the beginning of the night, you are given a bingo book and highlighter to work with, however not long after the event gets underway, this will be scrapped as the event then turns into a massive party! You are standing on tables, singing to all the classic songs, dancing, drinking, the lot. To be honest, this would be an elderly person’s nightmare.

Glow sticks are thrown into the audience, along with a lot of other things, including toys of a specific kind, which we will not go into too much detail about. The event really does get people on their feet and laughing, having a good time. It is enjoyed by all ages and genders, doesn’t matter who you go with, it could be family, friends, partners. The host will even get a range of people coming onto the stage throughout the event to perform dances and singing in order to win prizes. It is one of those events where you really have to let yourself go.

So, what can you actually win? Well, prices include cash, of up to £600! There are also bottles of Glen’s Vodka, Lambrini, Giant soft toy and even a card cut-out to be won. Maybe you could be the lucky winner of a Bruce Forsyth card cut out! The game is so modern that in order to get your bingo card, you generate the board yourself by using digits on your mobile phone number. You do not include the 0 at the beginning, but with the other 10 numbers, you group them in 2’s so that there are 5 numbers in total. If you find that you have a duplicate number, then you simply add 1 to the number, so the number 10 would become 11. So, let’s say your number was 07123456789, your bingo card would be 71-23-45-67-89.

Events are being held all over the UK so keep on the lookout for tickets and make sure you participate and go to venues near you.
