NBC’s Songland 2019 Winner, Katelyn Tarver Debuts “Feel Bad”

Today, Georgia-born, LA-based singer-songwriter Katelyn Tarver has premiered her latest single/video Feel Bad with Billboard. The video follows Tarver as she copes with her inability to express her insecurities and doubts to her partner. She grapples with the guilt of remaining in a loop of unhappiness. Over bubbling synths and deep piano melodies she eventually embraces the unknown changes that will come from expressing her truth.

Tarver reflects, “I wrote this in a time in my life where I was finally admitting a lot of things to myself. Confronting the darker parts of yourself is scary. But the more I shared these parts of myself, the more peace I found in the midst of the chaos. I hope this song will make you feel less alone if you’re going through a time of transition or grief or change. Keep walking through.
