For your baby’s arrival, you have little time left and you have to buy a lot of stuff for him. Now you must be thinking of all the things which are fun and a must-have like baby’s outfits, a stroller, baby cot, feeding kits, toys and a lot more. You may want to provide your baby with the best of everything and due to the excitement of the little one’s arrival you may spend a lot of money and end up buying things that are not needed.

But only get things which are necessary and don’t buy things that will not be used and end up in one of your cupboards.
Avoid Buying Advance Baby Clothes
Newborn babies grow very fast. Due to this, you should not buy clothes for them in advance as they will be growing quickly and the clothes you bought can no longer be of their fit and will be of no use.
Don’t buy what is not needed
I know sometimes the discounts are amazing and you want to buy even the things that are not needed, but don’t go overboard. When you go out shopping ask yourself this one question that do you need this thing before buying. Babies need love and care more than any luxury accessories.
Buy Neutral Colored Clothes
While shopping for the baby you must buy unisex shades as sometimes you buy too many clothes for a newborn and then if they remain unused, you want to keep them for your next child. But if you have only pink clothes and the next child is a boy then they will get wasted. Hence, buy colors that can be used for both baby boys and girls.

As you know your baby is not brand conscious. All he needs are soft, clean and comfortable clothes, not brand labels. So, do not waste your money on branded items and focus on comfort only.
When Sale is On, Buy for Coming Months
If your child is 8 months old then, then buy clothes for 18 to 24 months which can be used easily for then later months. In many baby shops there are discounts and baby care coupons, so make use of those and purchase for later.
Don’t Overbuy Toys and Clothes
As you know that most of the baby gifts are toys and clothes, so before rushing to the shop you must keep this in mind. Toys and clothes are usually gifts from family and friends so you need to buy them less.

You should buy one or two bottles before the arrival of the baby. As babies also have their own choices sometimes you buy dozens of feeding bottles from a brand but later your baby does not like that one and likes a less expensive bottle. So, in this way, your money will be wasted.
Don’t Buy Fancy-Expensive Shoes
I know you want to buy beautiful and fancy shoes for your infant which can be more than 20-30$. But when babies are indoor, they learn to walk more quickly by being barefoot. For outside you can use soft and comfy boots to keep them warm and comfortable.

In the end, all I want to say is that try to worry less and enjoy yourself with your baby, as they grow up so fast. To remain in a budget all you need to do is list down things that are needed and after that if your budget allows buying the rest of the things which attract you.
