tētēma (Mike Patton/Anthony Pateras) Release “Soliloquy” Single

tētēma (Mike Patton and Anthony Pateras) have released a third single for the band’s forthcoming album, Necroscape (April 3, Ipecac Recordings), debuting the song “Soliloquy” this morning (http://smarturl.it/necroscape).

“No other band would combine microtonal buchla with hyperactive drumming to serenade Paganini and Leonard Cohen passed out in a hot tub,” said Pateras of the song. “This track is like pressing fast forward on both a [Giacinto] Sclesi and Yasunao Tone CD on different systems pointed at each other, except it’s performed live. Quite possibly the only track in the world to refer to Deleuze as ‘chichi’.:

The bicontinental outfit have released two singles in addition to “Soliloquy”: “Wait Till Mornin’” (video: https://youtu.be/RyrZxEuYzuY) and “Haunted On The Uptake” (https://youtu.be/SHH1uSVWEkQ). Pre-orders, which include a limited edition embossed gatefold vinyl (2500 copies), CD digipak and digital download are available here: https://smarturl.it/necroscape.
