One avenue UEFA could take is to allow England to host the tournament in 2021.

UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin will speak today with representatives of European clubs, leagues and national federations in a view to making decisions on Summer 2020s European football schedule. Both the Italian and Spanish football federation have already indicated their willingness to finish the 2019/20 football seasons.
