PREMIERE: Kendall Pennington Releases New Music Video For “Empty”

Kendall Pennington has just released her heartfelt music video for her single, “Empty.” This track is Kendall’s fourth single, and it is a track that was very difficult for her to write. Written in the aftermath of losing both of her parents, the only word that Kendall could describe the feeling of everything around her crashing down was “empty.”

“I wrote the verses to tell the story of all the valuable things they were able to show and teach me before they passed, and how I carry those with me now.” – Kendall Pennington

Kendall knew right away that she wanted to film this music video in black and white to give the distinct feeling of reliving memories as opposed to a reenactment. The video tells the story of Kendall’s parents’ real-life struggles and how they let their demons and addictions take over their lives and how it impacted her growing up and becoming the person she is today. Kendall sings her heartfelt lyrics as she looks on a young version of herself, played by growing up in a chaotic household.
