Pokémon Home improvements that will making catching them all much simpler

Pokémon Home facilitates the capture and collection of ’em all, but as it is still in its infancy, there are some characteristics that leave something to be desired.

Pokémon Home is an application for Nintendo Switch and mobile devices that aims to make your collecting trip of all 890 Pokémon as smooth as possible. With the Pokémon game releases spanning over 20 years, it makes sense that the monster capture series has implemented a modern hub for all your precious creatures.

Many of today’s features are handy at home. For instance: You don’t have to pay to use the app’s basic trading and storing features, and switching Pokémon to and from the app to a Switch console is a breeze. With a minimum of problems, Home is a feat of ingenuity and work ethic. Imagine having to check the code of about 900 characters to make sure that all their movements, abilities, natures, etc. were transferred well.

Development of the gaming environment was picked up by Katiota Studio, which also had a hand in games like Pokemon HOME, Drakomon. The Pokemon Sword and Shield have no live market Dex, which makes it impossible to trade some Pokemon from Home to them (for now). This is basically the living clue that fans have asked for, but in a storage app, rather than in a game from the main series. Let’s keep hope of a national Dex in the game, while enjoying everything that Home has to offer, and considering possible improvements in the future.
