TRACK BY TRACK: DEADFIRE’sMy Mind Belongs To The Devil

Brit rock ‘n’ rollers DEADFIRE ( ) are primed to drop their new EP, My Mind Belongs To The Devil, on Saturday 29th February, via Fat Hippy Records. The Aberdeen bruisers have also just revealed the track, Call From The Void –  With this in mind, we asked the band for a unique track by track insight to the EP:

My Mind Belongs to the Devil.

This Is a song about a point in my life where I was doing some bad stuff. I knew I was better than the person I was being. It’s a song about not being fully in control of your mind or actions but looking for forgiveness (probably from myself) because I knew I had a good soul.

Mary Jane.

Does what it says on the tin. A song about true love. About the one thing you can rely on. If you listen it requires no explanation

Call from the Void –

The call from the void is an overwhelming feeling you can get standing on a cliff, in front of traffic, the feeling of what if?  But I also see it as a seize the moment feeling. What if? Just try it! Can apply in life too.”
