PREMIERE: Sean Kennedy Releases New Single “Could You”

Sean Kennedy has released his second single of 2020 leading up to his full-length album, The One. The One will be Sean’s second album which will include “Could You,” his previously released single, “All the Time” along with nine unreleased tracks and one interlude.

“This song is about the anticipation one often feels, wondering if the emotions they have for someone are reciprocated. It’s a mixture of anxiety, excitement and trepidation all pulled together.” – Sean Kennedy

“Could You” was one of the first songs Sean Kennedy wrote for The One. In a similar vein as “All the Time” but in with a more mesmeric feel, “Could You” is based on a series of questions he wanted to ask another about their affections towards himself. The production of this single emulates the feelings of uncertainty and wonder through rhythmic drums and hypnotic effects that are reflective of the introspective nature of this song.
