18-year-old Elliot Wren has just released their debut single ‘RIP My Diary’ and they hope the song will be an inspiration to those around them. Watch here
Wren, who uses they/them pronouns, is a non-binary singer-songwriter hailing from the Boston area. Growing up, they felt that they did not fit into the world around them. Music helped them overcome that feeling, and now they are sharing their experiences and encouraging listeners to break free and do the same.
Wren says, “I hope that listeners take away from this song a feeling of freedom. I hope they get a feeling of letting go of toxic relationships and focusing on what makes you happy.”
RIP My Diary is an empowering song that celebrates self-love and moving on from those who are holding you back. Wren’s inviting story-telling writing style is showcased through the verses, and is paired with an anthemic chorus that you can’t get out of your head after one listen.
Wren’s debut release tells a story of self-love and taking your power back. Now that the first page of their story has been shared, there is more to come. The future is certainly bright for Elliot Wren.
