Latitude Festival

Latitude Festival takes over the idyllic eastern English countryside, and as its tagline proclaims, it is so much more than only a music festival. There is so much to see and do. The festival has many wonderful ways to unwind, such as yoga workshops and lake swimming. If you are interested in the arts, then this is the festival for you! With everything from hilarious acts in the Comedy Arena to ground-breaking performances in the Theatre Arena. Other activities and events include DJs hidden in the forest, operas on the lake, an outside cinema and a fantastic children’s area. Not to mention there is also a full programme of music too.

Download Festival is known as one of the most prominent and respected hard rock and heavy music festival in the world. The festival is located at Derby’s Donington Park and takes place in a course of three day, There is so much more than just music to keep you going at this festival, such as, laughing at the Side Pitter Stage which hosts a great line up of comedy and exploring the Circus of Horrors which includes everything from sword swallowers to acrobatics and various circus acts. There is also a great variety of food, drink and merch stalls to be enjoyed.

Glastonbury Festival

Glastonbury Festival is a clear standout on this list! It’s one of those festivals that really set the bar when it comes to worldwide music festivals! Known for hosting the biggest names in the music business on its world-famous Pyramid Stage, it’s really not a festival to be missed. This year the line-up includes music legends Diana Ross and Paul McCartney. Music isn’t the only thing this festival has going for it though, Shangri-La, the festivals night-time district is not to be missed with its riveting theatre performances. There is also Arcadia, for those who can truly party all night!

Wireless Festival

Wireless Festival takes place every year in England’s capital London. Although it started out as largely a pop and rock music festival, recently, it has become more focused on hip-hop, rap, R&B and grime music. Recent line-ups at Wireless included Cardi B, Migos and Travis Scott. Urban music fans from across the UK can enjoy this summertime festival which includes great chill out areas, singing booths and bars. The festival sees its return in July 2020 for another three days filled with the pedigree of rap stars in what will no doubt be a fantastic London weekend.

Reading & Leeds Festivals

Reading and Leeds festivals take place every summer simultaneously on the same weekend. The 2020 festivals are set to take pace over the Bank Holiday weekend in the last week of August. No matter what music you like, you will no doubt find something to vibe to in these festivals. They have everything from up and coming indie bands to metal, alternative pop and hip-hop. The festival also includes comedy acts, silent discos, a cinema, funfairs, singing tents as well as food and drink stalls.
