PREMIERE: Rita Capuchina Releases New Single “Hey Sister”

Rita Capuchina has one of those voices that could fit nicely into many genres. With her new single “Hey Sister” the San Angelo  songwriter emits a sound that transplants you directly to Nashville. A mix folk, country, R&B and blues has the listener guessing what she may do next. The X factor with Rita is her band is tight without sounding rigid. The easy flow of the instrumnetation coupled with her  voice is familiar in an exciting fashion. Here is what the singer-songwriter had to say about the meaning of her lyrics:

“Hey Sister!” is an expression my close friend Lorrie always uses to greet me and her other close girl friends.  Every time I’d hear it, I’d think of my sisters who I am very close to; but made me miss them as we don’t live in the same town. So it inspired me to write about the relationships us women have with our sisters,  both by blood and the ones we choose in our lives…our sisters who are there for you in every challenge,  storm and victory.  Here’s the song dedicated to all your “Ride or Die” Sisters!”
