Santa Cruz De Tenerife Carnival, Tenerife
19 February – 1 March
Although this is technically a carnival, that doesn’t stop it from being one of the most vibrant and enjoyable experiences on the island. It’s hailed as the second biggest carnival to Rio, and it’s not one to be missed if you’re looking for music, top entertainment and performances.
SXM Festival, St Martins, Caribbean

For dance and techno lovers out there, this festival is a must. Here you can party for five days in the sunshine and enjoy a myriad of venues including private beaches, villas and boats with top acts performing. Why not marry this experience with a longer stay on the islands and make it into a dream holiday.
10th – 19th April
No festival calendar line-up would be complete without a mention of California’s biggest festival. You’re never short of prominent named performers hitting the stage, and recent line-ups have included Beyonce, Ariana Grande and Childish Gambino. Alongside top names hitting centre stage, you might even rub shoulders with celebrities in the crowd too!
11th – 15th June
This remote festival in a secluded spot in Wales has attracted festival goers for more than ten years. If you’re into electronic music, this is a must-do event, and DJ performances from names such as Mr Scruff, Andrew Weatherall and Skee Mask are always massive hits. Event suppliers such as Alive Network at https://www.alivenetwork.com/bandsearch.asp?style=Tribute%20bands , bring UK festivals some of the best entertainment acts so you can expect great performances across the country.
18th – 21st July
If you’re looking for a festival that boasts multi-genre music and a friendly atmosphere, Benicassim is the place to be this year. International acts such as Lana Del Ray and Kings of Leon have graced the stage. Plus, you can camp nearby to soak up the whole experience over the three days.
1st – 4th August
Starting as a modest festival with a punk rock theme, this festival has transformed into a stage for all types of music including big names such as Ariana Grande and Tame Impala. This spot isn’t just great for music either. You’ll also find a food market called Chow Town that promotes local restaurants and food spots.
Outlook Festival, Croatia
30th July – 3rd August
Seeing out the festival season and hanging up its coat for the last time, Outlook Festival returns to Punta Christo for one last shindig. The music scene is mainly electronic and hip-hop but also has an impressive range of reggae, grime and dub to sink your teeth into. Its unique setting is not to be missed, and as it’s the last one, it’s a must to see out the festival calendar in style.
