Today, Grace Davies, 22-year-old composer, songwriter, pianist and singer, soars back into view for 2020 with the release of her new single ‘INVISIBLE’ through The Orchard/Sony Music.

The release of ‘Invisible’ marks the start of an exciting new era in Grace’s career. Having independently released her debut EP at the age of 18, Grace garnered the support of tastemakers including BBC 6 Music, became a staple fixture on BBC Radio Lancashire, as well as picking up coveted national ‘BBC Introducing’ artist support.

A true artist, Grace oversees every element of her music. Following extensive time in the studio, the new single ‘Invisible’ is a terrific return, taking her artistry to fresh levels. Produced in Sweden with Elias Kapari, ‘Invisible’ is deeply personal, yet relatable – Grace’s unmistakable voice and fearless songwriting create a soulful, empowering record.

Grace says: “When I wrote this song nearly two years ago, I’d hit a real emotional low. Having just gone through an amazing, life-changing experience – one of the best things that’s ever happened to me – it also felt like the worst time of my life. I wrote Invisible to reflect the way I was feeling at that time, but also to focus on the fact that sometimes depression and feeling down are things that you can’t see or touch. It made me think about how invisible mental health issues can be.

I listen to this song now and know that I am in a better place in my life. I am so lucky that I have music, to capture all of my honest thoughts and feelings and to make something beautiful out of a desperate situation. I hope this song encourages others to open up and talk about what they’re going through, rather than keeping things bottled up.”

A full music video has been shot with Rankin’s creative award winning director Aella Jordon-Edge. Utilising Aella’s passion for making films about human relationships, it’s the engrossing widescreen experience that this potent single deserves.

Stay tuned for more on Grace’s return on her own terms, poised and ready to re-take the stage in 2020 with her own unique brand of music.
