Their sister venue, Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh are also joining in on the fun by offering the first 50 people a FREE milkshake on ‘Blue Monday‘.

With many Scots predicted to feel the January Blues this Monday as the cities battles through the dark, wet, grey month of January, feeling like payday will never come, Hard Rock Cafe Glasgow are here to save the day by offering a fantastic FREE and tasty treat to 100 Glaswegians between 6PM – 8PM on 20th January. Likewise Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh will also be giving out FREE milkshakes to 50 people between 6PM – 8PM on 20th January.

The city centre cafe’s are offering the Blue Monday January pick-me-up on what has been deemed the saddest day of the year. The concept was originally coined in 2004 by psychologist Cliff Arnall who came up with a “formula” for the January blues, which lands on the third Monday in January every year.

This perfect afterwork January treat will take place in the ultimate Instagram hotspots. The Hard Rock Cafe Glasgow and Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh feature iconic music memorabilia from around the world including amazing submissions from local bands Frightened Rabbit, Primal Scream and Rod Stewart as well as iconic pieces like Ringo Starr’s leather jacket and The Red Hot Chili Peppers guitar.

Want to turn that frown upside down with some tasty food? Then all you have to do is follow Hard Rock Cafe Glasgow on Facebook or Instagram and share their social post about Blue Monday onto your Instagram story or Facebook. Then simply turn up between 6PM – 8PM and show the shared post to a staff member at Hard Rock Cafe Glasgow. The deal is only available on first 100 people between these set times.

The same rules apply to Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh. Follow them on their Facebook or Instagram and share their Blue Monday post on your Instagram story or Facebook. The deal only applies to the first 50 people through the door between 6PM – 8PM on Monday 20th January. Make sure you look out for the posts going live on Hard Rock Cafe Glasgow and Edinburgh’s social channels on Monday!

The Blue Monday offer at Hard Rock Cafe Glasgow only applies to the Original Legendary burger and the vegetarian Moving Mountains burger, which can be made entirely vegan if served with a vegan brioche bun and vegan cheese. Veganuary? Sorted.
