Essays can be adventure or mere fictitious stories, but they can also be an essay on a topic. Writing an essay from the beginning is a tedious task but editing it is not easy too. A pattern for essays

  1. Collect ideas for your essay. For a non-fiction article: get information on the topic.

  2. Decide what idea you want to write about.

  3. Do a brainstorming and gather a detailed collection of ideas on the selected topic again.

  4. Think about what your essay should result in: which punch line, which high point of tension, which message or thesis.

  5. Now sort out the ideas from your collection of ideas that you need for your essay.

    • High point: Here the actions of all people flow together and approach the high point. In a non-fiction essay, you bring your arguments in this part.

    • Conclusion: Here the essay comes to the point, the message, the climax of tension, the thesis. The conclusion is very short in relation to the main part.

  8. Check whether your essay reproduces what you want (you can use essay editing service for this purpose) and whether the order of the action / the arguments is correct.

  9. Linguistic check: Now comes the finishing touch! Check if you have a living language. That means:

    • Do you use expressive words (instead of the pale “he said” for example “he insisted”, “he screamed grimly” etc.)?

    • Do you often repeat the same word? If so, replace it with words with a similar meaning!

    • Do you write vividly? That means, do you describe experiences with all your senses so that the reader can really get an idea? Instead of  “I was afraid to go to the castle ruins”, you describe why the ruin frightens you and how you feel the fear: “The ruin rose darkly and menacingly into the night sky, and whitish mists of fog rose from the interior of the castle in the pale moonlight, which wound around the tower like ghosts. My heart started pounding loudly against my chest and a tingling sensation ran down my back. It didn’t help: I ​​had to go to the castle! I continued my ascent with soft knees. The closer I got to the ruin, the dimmer the musty smell blew towards me. I put all my courage together when a terrible scream tore apart the moon’s silence – crap, the heavy metal open air concert had already started! ”

  10. Check your spelling now.

  11. Write your essay downright, either handwritten, with a typewriter or computer.
