Make Boring Bachelor Parties a Thing of the Past

Planning a wedding can be tedious and boring. You have to spend countless hours organizing, sampling, hiring and searching.

However, there is one part of the wedding planning process that every groom enjoys: his bachelor party.

This is a time where the groom gets to let loose and have a good time with his friends. If you want to throw a bachelor party that you and your friends will remember for years to come, consider the following suggestions:

1) Go Axe Throwing

Do you want your bachelor party to be a bullseye? Then you should take your friends out for a night of axe throwing.

Axe throwing leagues have become one of the top bachelor party destinations throughout the past decade. Axe throwing is a very social (yet competitive) sport that anyone can learn.

If you’re not familiar with axe throwing, the scoring system is similar to darts but with a few minor differences. One of the primary differences is the “clutch”.

To hit a “clutch”, you must hit one of two small, green targets located on the upper corners of the target. The clutch is generally worth more but can only be hit at certain points throughout the match. This keeps players on their toes and makes for some great comeback moments.

Many axe throwing establishments have liquor licences and allow you to bring in catered food (for a small price). This makes your local axe throwing league the perfect place to host a bachelor party.

Many axe throwing leagues welcome walk-ins, however, if you’re planning a bachelor party, you’ll want to call ahead of time and reserve your space.

Don’t have a boring bachelor party; spend your night laughing, socializing and throwing axes with your friends at your local axe throwing league.

2 – Hunting Trip

Nothing says “adventure” like a group hunting trip. This is the perfect way for you to bond with your friends and nature at the same time.

Hunting can be extremely beneficial for your physical and mental health.

Some of these benefits include:

  • Works your upper body
  • Improves cardiovascular system (from excessive walking)
  • Helps you feel relaxed

Plus, you and your friends will get to eat what you catch! This is an experience that you’ll remember for decades.

Before finalizing your plans, there are a few things that you need to go over. Firstly, you need to pick the ideal amount of people for the trip. In this case, the fewer the better. The optimal group size for a hunting trip is four.

Additionally, you’ll want to do some research on what animals are in-season. This will prevent you from making an avoidable mistake.

Although your wedding is supposed to be the biggest day of your life, your bachelor party should be a close second. If you want to take your bachelor party to the next level, you need to consider going out for a night of axe throwing. If you’d prefer to spend your time outdoors, you should gather up your closest friends and go on a hunting trip.
