South Korea and Japan currently have the fastest internet speed in the world. The average bandwidth in these countries is 22Mbps, and in the US, the average internet speed is 8.4 Mbps.

As you can see, there is a little bit of a difference, so don’t get too green with envy. Just be excited to know that it is possible, and it is bound to come to the U.S., or you could always take a trip to get a taste of the fastest internet in the world.

9. There’s a Deep Web

Most people don’t know the internet beyond using Google, Bing, and other popular search engines.

There is a lot more you can get into than what you find through these search engines. You might not want to find some of these things and could even get into some trouble, depending on how deep you dive.

If you want to access the deep web, you’re going to need something known as “Tor” if you want to get into the deep web.

Even further and deeper than the deep web is the dark web. You’ve likely heard of the dark web from television shows, but it’s much darker when you see it for yourself.

This part of the internet is for those people that require anonymity, and most people on the dark web are up to no good.

10. Internet is a Legal Right in Finland

Finland was the first country to make the internet a legal right. This action took place in 2010 and was a major win for the people of the country.

11. Video Is Growing By the Minute

Every minute that passes means there are hours and hours more video on sites like YouTube.

If you did nothing at all but watch YouTube for the rest of your life, there is no way you could even watch a fraction of the content that is on YouTube and other video sites.
