INTERVIEW: Lil Esco 28

Tell us about your background getting to where you are today?

I’m known as the kid from the viral meme “Ight imma f**k witcha”. How it started was, me and robtheplayboy were outside his house just messing around and decided to end up recording that viral meme. Robtheplayboy posted it on his Snapchat that only got 200 views. Eventually, it blew up on Twitter and gave me instant fame. Now I’ve got a music video coming out.

Video of the meme:

Where are you from?

Atlanta, Georgia

How did you get into music?

I always loved to freestyle, it was fun playing around. One day I then decided to hop in the studio and start rapping.

What is the most challenging thing you have overcome in your life?

Having to leave my house back in fifth grade, and move to my aunts.

How did overcoming the challenge make you who you are today?

I ended up having to quit playing basketball because of it. This in the end gave me a chance to find other things in life such as music at a very young age.

From an outside perspective who is Lil Esco 28?

I’m mainly known as the kid from the “Ight imma f**k witcha” meme. That fame from the video was cool and all, but I want more. I want to capitalize on that fame and make myself into something better.

Anything else you want the audience to know about you?

I want everyone to know that I’ll be taking this music stuff seriously and I plan to turn a viral meme into long term fame.
