INTERVIEW: Emily V

Thanks for taking time to chat with us today! Fill us in on what has been going on in your world in 2019?

2019 has been a great year!  I have gotten to perform with SO many different artists.  I have been brought on with some really great companies as sponsors as well.  BAM cases and LR Baggs are just a few of my favorites!  I have also been working on some original material.

What do you enjoy most about getting to do music?

Music is one of the most freeing things for me to do.  There is nothing else in the world BUT music when you are on stage.  It is very magical!  I always tell people, it is almost like an out of body experience.

What advice would you give someone who is starting out in music but isn’t sure where to begin?

Just do it!  Just start playing out, anywhere, everywhere with who ever will perform with you!  Don’t overthink it.  You have to start somewhere.

We know you have amazing talent on the violin. Do you sing too?

I am actually working on my singing muscles!  I would love to front my band one day!

If we were riding in the car with you – who we would hear coming out of the speakers?

Any ROCK N ROLL!  I go through phases… Right now I am listening to a ton of Alice In Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Mad Season, etc…

What is next for you Emily?

This next year is all about more growth, showing my audience my different facets of playing, writing my own music, getting on the road and recording as well!

Where can we can connect with you online?
