Hi Jaiden, welcome to VENTS! How have you been?

Pretty good, thanks for having me.

Can you talk to us more about your latest single ‘Forget’?

Forget is a great record. I had fun making it, as I was able to speak on certain things I never got to say. It mentally helped me a lot being able to put my opinions and feelings in a record like that. Sometimes I’m hesitant to speak on certain topics, but with this record, I was comfortable and let revealed my true, transparent feelings.

Did any event in particular inspire you to write this song?

Life, man. Things I’ve experienced in past relationships helped me write this record and I’m happy fans are responding well to it.

Any plans to release a video for the single?

Probably not this single, but definitely looking to do a video or two in 2020.

How was the recording and writing process?

I made the song in late August – I originally recorded the entire track over a melody that my boy Kaz sent me and then Steezefield went in and produced around the vocal afterwards. It was a team effort.

What role does Pittsburgh play in your music?

Pittsburgh will forever be my home but the city’s scene is pretty street rap heavy so I don’t really collaborate with too many artists from around here. I fuck with them, though. I’m really messing with this dude Fedd The God from the North Side.

Do you tend to take a different approach when you are collaborating with someone else rather than working on your own?

Yeah, I guess. All my collaborations have kind of just happened naturally, I don’t like forcing those things because then it never sounds natural. On the production end I really only work with Steezefield, sometimes I’ll grab beats from my email. On the artist end I prefer to just work with the homies, like Trevor Daniel or Arizona Zervas.

Does the new single mean we can expect a new material – how’s that coming along?

Hell yeah, I’m always writing. No concrete plans as of right now but definitely looking to drop a lot of new music next year.

Any plans to hit the road?

Can’t speak on that as of right now but the United States may be seeing 27CLUB in some select cities.

What else is happening next in 27CLUB’s world?

It’s only just beginning. We’re building something really special and appreciate everyone on this ride already. 2020 is the year of more output, so expect to see more of me everywhere. Buckle up because the ride is only beginning.
