Saskia Releases New Single “For You”

London based folk artist Saskia returns with gorgeous single ‘For You’, which is a ballad recorded in Abbey Road’s Studio 2. Complete with 40-person choir and a string quartet, the track has raised over £8,000 through crowdfunding as was recorded in partnership with charity Music For Mental Wealth. Watch here

Music For Mental Wealth is a charity that aids the prevention of mental health challenges in the music industry, and that work to empower companies and artists with the knowledge and tools to enjoy their careers and lives.

Saskia is a former Harley Street therapist who has since taken on music full-time, moving to Bristol prior to heading back to the capital’s acoustic circuit. Having received 4 arts council grants for her music, Saskia has toured the US and Germany and has built a strong and loyal base for her music. Attendees of the recording are aged between 9 and 75, and travelled far and wide from both the UK and overseas for the recording of ‘For You’.
