Hi 30, welcome to VENTS! How have you been?

Been good, balancing school with music so it’s been a grind.
Can you talk to us more about your latest single “Me Too Young”?
For sure, it’s just such a relatable record. For me, it was about a “right person wrong time” situation with a girl. But I feel like everyone can take it and make it mean something personal to them.
Any plans to release a video for the single?
Hopefully, we’ll see what the buzz on the song is like, and from there figure it out. Will definitely try my best though.
How was the recording and writing process?
This one was a super long journey. Sometimes I’ll make a song and it’ll be finished in one session, four or five hours. With this one, I recorded, re-recorded, mixed it, re-mixed it, sent to other people to mix it, groomed it for months, etc. Just took so long for whatever reason. It was definitely a frustrating one but that’s why it came out so good.
What role does Williamston play in your music?
It’s my home. I feel like it plays a role in everything I make, you know? It’s where I grew up. Because it’s such a small town, I feel like it’s hard to really have our own “culture.” So I feel like we were just a melting pot of all of the cities in the north east. That’s why my music is so versatile.
Does the new single mean we can expect a new material – how’s that coming along?
Hell yeah!
Any tentative release date or title in mind?
Top of 2020 for sure.
Any plans to hit the road?
100%. We’re planning new shows in new cities. Gonna be a huge year.
What else is happening next in 30’s world?

Really just balancing it all. It can be crazy. Trying to get a degree, maintain a social life in college, traveling for shows, recording, just everything. But I’m super happy and just grateful to have gotten this far.
