INTERVIEW: Nilladriz

Hello Nilladriz! How are you?

I’m feeling great, thank you for the opportunity.

How did your passion of photography start?

My passion for photography began back in highschool. I treated it as a hobby at first, shooting for my friends, athletes, and micro-influencers until i was given the opportunity to shoot for Reggie Mills. I fell in love with capturing the behind the scenes moments of an artist’s creative process that the general public could never see If I didn’t document it.

What is your favorite thing to photograph?

Other than rap photography I really enjoy manipulation photography. It’s super creative and they’re no rules or protocols involved. Your imagination is your greatest asset when doing manipulation photography.

If you could photograph any person in the world who would it be?

Drake

What equipment do you use?

I currently shoot with the Sony A7iii, usually with a speedlight.

What are some goals you are hoping to achieve in the next near?

I hope to shoot some album covers, do more commercial work, and overall just build my personal brand.

What’s next for Nilladriz?

I feel like 2020 is the year I separate myself from other photographers. I have some big photoshoots booked for January, I have two music videos releasing in the next month, one with Skinnyfromthe9 and one with Leeky Bandz. And I’m currently working on my first full length film expected to be done late 2020.
