Working of R-Drive Servo
In R-Drive servos, one or two built-in encoders send the feedback signals to the controller. This signal contains the information about velocity and angular motion of the output shaft and the rotor shaft of the Servo. This communication between the encoder and the controller is made possible through the BiSS line.
On receiving the signal information, the controller decides whether the brushless AC motor has reached the specific speed and location. If it is necessary, the controller corrects the performance of the motor as wanted. The motor receives the instructions from the controller and work according to them. The motor and controller communicate over a CAN network. In this way, they create compact action and create accurate positioning of the arm.
