INTERVIEW: Aon the Artist

Hi Aon the Artist! How are you?

I’m blessed and thankful for the opportunity to be on here. This is my first interview so I’m doing pretty well right now.

When/How did you start/get into making music?

Ever since I was a kid I was making my own songs on the piano. I used these old cassette tapes my mom had around to record my ideas. It wasn’t till high school I started hearing these songs in my head and eventually I found a outlet to get them out.

What is your greatest inspiration for your music?

I want to positively influence generations with my sound and that’s what keeps me going. I’m not focused the fame, money, or anything like that. Just making a difference.

What is the hardest subject you’ve ever written about?

Writing about real stories I’ve been though is always tough because it’s almost impossible to put into words the things you’ve been though. As artists we try our best but my words are never enough to convey the exact emotion. So what people hear then is just an interpretation of that.

What is the greatest achievement you’ve ever accomplished?

Finding my purpose in life which isn’t just making music. Once I found this out my life was changed forever.

Are you planning on releasing new music soon?

The songs right now are flowing like lava. We just keep on creating them so we have a lot of them to put out. I’d say something new will be out every 3 weeks or so.

What is next for you?

I’m going to LA the first couple days of 2020. I feel like this will be the perfect way to kick off the new year with my team.
