Ferdinand, the artist formerly known as Left Boy, releases his brand new single ‘Dynamite’. The pop anthem further cements Ferdinand’s status as a multi-disciplinary genre-hopping megastar, with it’s instantly catchy soulful vocals, and classic pop production.
Left Boy changed his name to Ferdinand after releasing an album of the same name last year. The album marked a change in direction for the left-field hip hop artist, an epic double-disc journey through rock music which showed off the depth of his creative prowess.
Earlier this year, Ferdinand released an EP ‘Sex Party’ which fused together his past with his future, and now with ‘Dynamite’ he’s hit the pop jackpot. Truly unique in his approach, Ferdinand is an artist like no other.
“Dynamite is potentially the best song I’ve ever made. The record reminds me of late 90s early 00s Max Martin type pop productions,” explains Ferdinand “It’s not what we set out to do but that’s kind of what happened and I really love that”. The song has been in production for a long time, taking over a year and a half for Ferdinand to perfect it.
