Everything you need to know about Web Design & User Experience

Web designing and its understanding, user experience should be acknowledged. Users will remember their visit to a website even if they do not remember the salient features and main points of that web. And this makes it an even more critical position than knowing about the website thoroughly.

The layout, text, interactive elements, and graphics are the main points that not only provide the user with information. But it assists the visitor’s experience, and it serves to make it a memorable experience for the user and more likely to be shared on social media for further promotion. UX design is an active fragment of web work.

You must also checkup with making sure that the website is scannable because mostly, as in offices, users often scan the site rather than reading it. It is highly likely that your user would browse something, and it may strike appealing to them. It increases the chances of user growth.

Users can make out with the layout of the website within a minute, and you will need to make sure that your website offers clarity of its purpose, that it is apparent and appealing. Focus your attention on creating the main button against a bunch of buttons on the home page. In such a way that users might not have to look too hard to find directions in the first place. It can make a huge impression.

You should not be showing off all the functions or features of your website at first sight, as doing this will only serve to confuse the user. Make ready with few of the main buttons on the main screen (home page), extra features hidden within the website, and to only become visible on further discovery and exploration of the website.

Also, focus on the aesthetics of the website. You would not want to make it hard for the user to figure out the interface.

It may be that you visited a website yesterday, and you liked the UI of that website, and you may want to do the same with yours. You shouldn’t do this, UI is an integral part of a website, and you would want to make it as simpler for the user as possible. For example, the login information should be available on the top right corner of your page. There is no need to reinvent or relocate these common components. Because over-creativity with the standard feature can lead to confusion among the users, and it reduces usability. Navigation of your website should be easy, smart, reliable, and user-friendly.

While creating the website, you should highly consider the following points:

  1. Content – Your content should be original and able to fulfill a user’s needs.

  2. Usable – Your site must be easy to locate.

  3. Desirable – Better designing never lacks for appreciation and emotion.

  4. Navigation – Onsite and Offsite content should be easy to navigate.

  5. Accessible – The content on your website should be available to people with disabilities.

  6. Credible – Users should have trust on your website.
