Historic Royal Palaces and IMG today announce that international superstar, Lionel Richie and soul-pop phenomenon Rick Astley will both be returning to Hampton Court Palace Festival next year. Taking place in June 2020 the concerts are held in Base Court, one of the magnificent Tudor courtyards within the palace.
Joining the previously announced George Benson, Lionel Richie will headline on Thursday 11 June and Tuesday 16 June and Rick Astley will headline on Friday 5 June, with tickets on general sale 22 November at www.hamptoncourtpalacefestival.com.
Rick Astley’s career spans four decades and includes unforgettable hit singles such as ‘Never Going To Give You Up’, ‘Whenever You Need Somebody’ and ‘Together Forever’. Following a triumphant performance in 2017, he returns to the Hampton Court Palace stage in 2020 for what is set to be a truly special night.
After a sensational debut in 2018 Lionel Richie returns to Hampton Court Palace Festival. Richie’s shows are world renowned for their party atmosphere and fans will be able to enjoy timeless mega-hits such as ‘Lady’, ‘Dancing on the Ceiling’, ‘Say You, Say Me’, ‘Hello’ and ‘All Night Long’.
Now in its 28th year, Hampton Court Palace Festival, is a series of truly special and unique open-air concerts.
