After teasing fans with the audio and visual for his lead single “Trippin”, Adam Halliday, is finally releasing his electrifying R&B/pop-tinged debut EP ‘About A Girl’.
‘About a Girl’ promises to give a firsthand look at the genius of the rising star. The opener, “All Falls Down,” is a reflective ballad about a deeply painful parting of ways and sets a strong tone for the tracks to follow. The club-approved banger “Promises” is all about finding the perfect rebound, all while Murda Beatz play wingmen. Aluna Francis of AlunaGeorge makes a gut-wrenching cameo on “Call Waiting.”
Adam Halliday grew up splitting time between Manchester, UK and Philadelphia; inspired by a wide range of artists including Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, The 1975, Usher, Eminem and 50 Cent. After studying at Berklee College of Music before moving to LA, he quickly found himself writing with some of the top producers in music in both the hip-hop and pop spaces. Led by his first single “Trippin”, Adam’s debut EP ‘About A Girl’promises to reflect his unique melting pot of influences and writing styles.
