Bear Witness Release Anthemic Rock Single ‘Tokyo’s Ruin’

Birmingham-based Rock duo Bear Witness release brand new single ‘Tokyo’s Ruin’  to promote the release of their sophomore EP ‘DAWN’, out today. Following hard hitting singles ‘Save The Youth I Own’ & ‘Perfect Living’, Bear Witness have shown incredible songwriting prowess in creating a mammoth track bigger and better than any of its predecessors. This young two piece are fast establishing a strong collection of material and show no signs of slowing down.

Mixed and mastered by Gareth Rogers who was an engineer on albums for Robert Plant, The Editors and Paolo Nutini. He has helped the band develop their sound, harnessing the power of their monstrous rhythms and powerful vocals whilst pairing them perfectly with the many melodies and hooks laden throughout the music. Dynamic, with powerful, cinematic choruses leading into quiet, introspective verses and emotional, soulful builds, ‘Tokyo’s Ruin’ is a colossal blockbuster of a track for fans of Linkin Park, Bring Me The Horizon, Highly Suspect, 30 Seconds To Mars and Incubus . The lyrics explore an inner conversation: one side broken, calling out to the melody in the music to aid in suffering; the other brought out by the music – singing the lyrics ‘feel the soul in you’, an instruction that however broken we feel, we are all still human and alive, we all have value.
