Originally started as a demo for The Safdie Brothers‘ film of the same title, the deep cut “Heaven Knows What” from Holy Ghost!’s most recent album, Work (2019), now has a video starring Michael Imperioli and his son, Vadim.

This isn’t the first time the band has explored themes of age, family, and interpersonal relationships: In 2011 they cast their own fathers as themselves in the now iconic music video for “Wait and See”. Now, at the end of the decade, the band returns with what’s become a familiar thread in their visual work : The Father, My Son & The Holy Ghost. Ironic for a group of guys who own a Jewish Deli…
