Duskus Releases Shimmering EP For Foreign Family Collective

Duskus has consistently weaved his own path with his wonky, experimental future bass/electronic soundscapes. Over the past two months, the Manchester-based producer has built anticipation for the release of his new EP In Retrospect, starting with lead single “I Can Change Your Mind.”

The EP delivers a careful balance between elegance and restraint, utilising various shades of colour such as the eclectic nature of the drums as well as the majestic wash of strings across the soundscape that help build a resounding depth that keeps you on the edge of your seat. From opener “Be There For You” to the final cut “I’ll Remember You,” this five-track EP pulls you in and holds your attention throughout.

Duskus shares: “In Retrospect’ is a journey to find myself as an artist and as a person. It is discovering how fragile and delicate this world is, comparing how people choose to live, and the different pathways that they take. I believe that life doesn’t have a guideline, and there’s no right or wrong way to live, each decision we have made in the past, has shaped our power and knowledge now. ‘In Retrospect’ showcases my existential mind drifting in and out of different life stages, to create a journey of wonder and mystery.”

Make sure you follow all things Foreign Family Collective & Duskus to stay in the loop, and for now – take a listen to this awesome project below.
