VASSY teams up with directors Wesley Quinn and Paul Khoury to bring the dance-pop hit ‘Trouble’ to life. The song is produced by Dan Muckala who has worked with The Backstreet Boys, Selena Gomez, Echosmith, and Tiësto, and is released via Spinnin’ Records.
We all know that feeling, when we’re up to no good and just bound to get into some trouble – well that’s the feeling VASSY portrays on her newest track. In the music video, our main character wakes up with a smile on her face ready to seize the day. When she goes to her kitchen to get a bowl of cereal, she realizes she’s out of milk and goes out to the market. We see clips of VASSY dancing with fun pops of yellow filling the background in between the storyline. As we watch the actress on her journey, she doesn’t let the bad vibes get her down and she starts to dance to the beat as well. At the end of the video, she finally has her milk in hand VASSY runs into her, spilling the milk carton out of her hand and she gives the main character a quirky “oops” smile. The powerhouse creative team behind the music video are VASSY herself with Creative Director Dre Kahmeyer, choreographers Wesley Quinn and Macy Jewelinski, and dancer Macy Jewelinski.
VASSY comments “The video is meant to be open and playful, a universal feeling that everyone can relate to. Trouble can be anything, it’s all about the adventures in our lives and the trouble we get into that keeps it fun and exciting! The journey we see in the video embodies the blessings in disguise that we can experience.”
