PREMIERE: JADN Release “2 For Blue”

With the influence of iconic sounds of the 80’s, lyrical verbiage of early 2000’s pop, and techniques of modern production, JADN intertwines it all to showcase songs about nostalgic love and heartbreak. The band is comprised of frontman David Vogel, guitarist Jeremy Vogel, bassist Aaron Bishop, and guitarist Nick Gamble. The four friends meet frequently in their NY based home studio to write, record, and produce the sounds of JADN.

Their debut single, “Just Like That,” was released Summer of 2018 which is currently approaching 200,000 streams on Spotify. They started off 2019 with a second single, “Little Love,” a pop anthem which explores memories within snapshots of a past relationship. Their latest release includes an 80’s inspired ballad, entitled, “She’s So Cool.”

JADN’s debut EP is scheduled to release early November of 2019. In the meantime, they are actively performing in local NYC venues while writing new music and expanding their fanbase.

Speaking to the motivation behind Track Title, JADN shares:

“2 for blue is a song about learning from past experiences. It’s also a song about moving forward past hardships and heartbreak to find a place of peace and stability. College was a time of of love and learning, and walking hand in hand with a girl. But after both school and romance ended, I found myself at a loss for purpose”.

“I moved back to my hometown and was looking for something worth living for. It was weird seeing my old friends and old streets. But eventually I found a way to blend what I had learned in Virginia with the life I was now living up north. I made a lot of mistakes the last time I was home, but this time I have learned how to navigate without getting myself into trouble. I owe that learning to the good times, my mistakes, and the girl who taught me how to be the man I’m supposed to be. Blue eyes.”
